I'm going to be entering a competition to win a Canon EOS 500D. I really want to do this even though I'll be up against some professionals I still want to have a go (:

Heres what I have to do:

"Over the next few weeks we want you to take photos which capture a story, and then share them here. That’s a pretty wide brief, so to narrow things down we’ve come up with eight themes to help you decide what to commit to film (or memory card). We’ll be running two themes a week for four weeks from 23 November.

The themes are: Street fashion, Weathered, Trees, Night-time, Eccentricity, Dogs, The fanatic, Revelry.

** YOU’LL BE ABLE TO UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS FOR THE FIRST TWO THEMES FROM 23 NOVEMBER **"


It's 2 themes per week so for my and your benefit I'm going to separate them

Week 1 - Street Fashion, Weathered
Week 2 - Trees, Night-time
Week 3 - Eccentricity, Dogs
Week 4 - The fanatic, Revelry

Okay, for those of you who don't know, I live at the top of Scotland where there is no street fashion what so ever so I'm kind of screwed for that catagory but it's one winner per theme so I have a good chance to get a camera in Trees & Dogs. (:

The aim of the competition is to take more than pictures, take stories.
